The Session was built with stability and ease in mind. With more surface area than Radar has ever created, getting out of the water is a breeze and once you’re up, you’ll feel fast and flowy with the level spine and grip rails working to reduce drag. Radar's All-Terrain construction makes crossing wakes and rougher water simple and smooth. Like all Radar Skis the Session it is built with 100% carbon laminates.
Radar's Open Water Series has three goals in mind: 1 - Quickly and easily plane to the surface. 2 - Very low drag. You can’t make it to the far end of the lake, or the length of the river if you run out of steam. 3 - It needs to still rip lake a slalom ski should. At Radar, they only design slalom skis that act like slalom skis. With the Open Water Series they took the mission to heart, adding more surface area than any other series in the line, cracking the traditional design code in the process. With the addition of Grip Rails and a flat spine, you have a ski that easily finds and maintains an edge despite its increased width. The barrier to entry into the slalom world just got lowered.
